Lancaster Offshoots Presents: Neverland
11-16th August (21:35-22:35) theSpace @ Venue45 Tickets; £8/£9 |
Neverland is Lancaster Offshoots exciting new venture for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014 that, through close collaboration between an ensemble of nine men and women and the production team, explores the transition between childhood and adulthood, life and death, growing old, and how we see our world. Neverland is an original piece that explores the unique emotional and physical changes of growing up; and merges the lines of fantasy and reality. It will ask what would we do to change our world for the better if we could? It will question our most intimate fears and our wildest ambitions.
Neverland draws on an eclectic mix of theatrical themes including the monologue, physical theatre, puppetry, music and choral work to create a profoundly personal piece documenting our hopes, our fears, our ambitions and our perceptions of the world around us and how they change and develop as we do. This show is set to be exciting, new, challenging and unique. |
